  1. Thank you for sharing some inspiring quotes. The second quote from Janet Gonzalez-Mena really reminds me about how we must let the child lead us through his or her thoughts and processes to enter the world as he or she sees it. As adults, we become quite jaded by life and often forget about the "ah-ha" moment young children have yet to experience. I feel like this quote leads into the second quote you have shared from President Lyndon B. Johnson. It is our responsibility to offer children the knowledge of how to live in the world. We give them so many chances but we much also prepare them properly for this opportunities.

  2. I like the quote of Louise-Derman Sparks so much. when I'm teaching and working with children, I think too much about injustices in the world. No child should suffer injustice. We as professionals in the early childhood field should struggle against that and support their families the best we can.
    Thanks for sharing!! :)

  4. President Johnson's quote regarding problem solving as a team really resonates with me. I love picking other people's brains about issues rather than depending solely on myself to come up with solutions.

  5. Oh these are wonderful! I love LBJ's comment on working together, and I totally agree with Penatta M. Cooper's comment on "taking your ego out of it." That can be particularly difficult to do when the same student seems to struggle with you over and over again. You need to remove your ego from the situation and do what's best for the child, even if it means you have to seek out additional help.

  6. All the quotes that you have posted are all so incredibly true. Although the one that speaks to me the most is the one by Penatta M. Cooper, because of just how true it is, that it is always important to put a child's needs a head of your own, and think about what is best for them.
